We had been here before during our last trip to Hong Kong but we just cannot resist to go there again. This time, we managed to make it to the Symphony of Lights, where participating buildings displayed lights accompanied by music. It was like a musical lights show. The view was certainly a sight to behold. Here's the photo that I took of the jungle of skyscrapers again, similar to the one I took back in August 2005.
This waterfront was packed with tourists. Almost everyone had either a camera or a videocam. The view was fanstastic as before. It was rather windy on the night we went there. Chubby kid's stroller was almost tipped over by the wind had I not grabbed hold of it. Anyway, the wind, the lights, the atmosphere all rolled into one generated a very romantic surrounding. No wonder there were lots of couples holding hands, hugging so tightly and kissing like no one was around.
It gives us a nostalgic feeling to be back at a place where we were two and a half years ago. The only difference is that now we have chubby kid. Back then, we were still roaming freely everywhere and doing everything possible without a kid. Can't wait for chubby kid to grow up and show her the photos of her in Hong Kong and bring her there once again. Perhaps by then, the romantic surrounding can induce my husband to decide on adding to the population of the world again. Yes, darling? :p
